Sidam is developing, in collaboration with other organisations, a system of post-explant products. This consists of a highly advanced and innovative set of specialised circuits for post-explant treatment aimed at preserving and maintaining the physiological characteristics of internal organs, in particular the liver, kidney and lung.

Design of devices for the collection and management of stem cells
Sidam is part of the Digital Smart Fluidics project, promoted by the “Call HUB Research and Development” of Lombardia Region. The project also involves the lead partner Fluid-o-Tech, a market leader in the design and production of volumetric pumps and fluid-management systems with high accuracy and precision, together with the University of Pavia, the I.R.C.C.S. Policlinico S. Matteo Foundation, the company MC2, which brings specific expertise in control-electronics development, and Prima Lab, a leading manufacturer of in vitro diagnostic tests.
imPURE is a project financed by Horizon 2020, which aims to create medical supplies through injection moulding systems, capable of protecting the community from Covid-19. The aim is to transform the production lines of injection moulding with modular moulds, which include interchangeable inserts, enabled by the rapid technology of additive manufacturing (AM). Medical components will be produced, in particular masks, spikes for vaccines and oximeters.
Every critical medical supply will be realised in less than 48h, to be quickly delivered to patients, vulnerable groups and medical staff, thanks to the flexible adaptability of the moulds on the industrial production lines.
